What should I expect when I visit?

On your first visit we take a thorough history of your problem, how it affects you at home, work and leisure. We discuss your concerns, goals and medical history before forming diagnoses or further recommendations.

What to bring:

Please bring a list of any medications or supplements you are taking. Previous X-rays and MRI scans may also be of help, so please contact the Chiropractor to check if they will be required. Remember your diary to help book any follow-up appointments.

What to Wear:

You may wish to bring clothes that are comfortable to change in and out of for examination.

What might my examination include?

A Neurological Examination- • Balance and coordination tests • Muscle strength, length and firing patterns • Skin sensation • Reflexes • Cranial nerve tests Orthopaedic Examination- • Range of motion of joints including the spine • Joint and ligament tests Special tests to screen for- • Fractures • Joint orligament damage and instability • Disc herniation or other space occupying lesions • Nerve impingement or compression • Movement and Ergonomic Assessments- • Functional tests • Breathing patterns • Posture • Gait “Vital signs”- • Blood pressure • Heart rate • Temperature • Heart and lung sounds • Pulses After taking your details and completing the examination we can make a provisional diagnosis, better discuss your options and where appropriate, agree on an individual course of care. This patient-centred, active approach is tailored to your age and level of activity. Quality postural, exercise, and rehabilitation advice helps you achieve your goals at home, work and leisure. We reassess relevant tests at every visit, and perform “case reviews” where necessary to monitor your progress. With your consent we may provide referral letters to your GP or consultant free of charge should you require further investigations, co-management or referral elsewhere.

What is chiropractic?

The Chiropractic healthcare profession deals with diagnosis, treatment and prevention of conditions involving the joints, ligaments, tendons and nerves, especially related to the spine. People of all ages can benefit from the package of care combining effective pain management, a wide range of manual treatments including massage, mobilisation, manipulation, stretching and taping methods.

What are your prices?

£63 for 1st Consultation/Treatment session (45mins)
£42 for Subsequent treatments (20mins)
£54 for Complex treatments/ Multiple complaints (30mins)

Under 18 years -
£54 (consultation) and £42 (treatments)

Referral letters to GP's or Consultants - FREE of charge

Cash, cheque, card or bank transfer payments accepted: Visa | V PAY | MasterCard | Maestro

Insurance cases accepted. Please check your policy for whether referral from a GP or pre-authorisation from your insurer is required.
